A day of drawing at Paradise Park in Cornwall.

A group of us also had the pleasure of spotting two seals near St Ives Island which I’ve sketched from memory.

Reportage Illustration-Visual Journalism

I am a co-founder of First Hand; A reportage illustration collective who visually record ideas and events with a journalistic approach.

Together we create illustrations live on location, capturing unfolding events.

Life Drawing

Two thirty minute poses made in life drawing today.

The first in pencil and the second using charcoal taped to the end of a long stick. The second definitely gives the drawing a more expressive feel.

Location Drawing at The Eden Project, Cornwall

After running the Eden Project Half Marathon, I spent the day drawing at The Eden Project in Cornwall. I recorded scenes in the Rainforest and Mediterranean Biome, using dip pen and inks.
