I am an Illustrator, working remotely from my studio in Cornwall to create illustrations for children’s picture books.

M Y P R O C E S S

My illustrations are hand drawn using a mixed media approach but my favourite materials to work with are inks and watercolour. In my recent work, I have been exploring mark making using bamboo, silicone, and mixed brushes to create expressive lines and textures. Each illustration is made up of many individual drawings which are painted on watercolour paper. The drawings are then scanned into my computer where the final illustrations are composed by layering the hand drawn elements on photoshop.
